In this lecture we will learn how to decorate text in Microsoft Word 2010 when I am saying that Decorate means to make it slanted, underline the text or make it look more fancy. Make bold Finally we will see how we can like.

Making text bold

We use bold text to emphasize the sentence. It is very easy to convert selected text into bold fonts by following two simple steps.

Step:1 Select the part of the text that to be |Bold|. You can use any of the text selection steps to select the text section. 

Step:2 Click the Font Bold [B] button in the Home tab font group, or use the Ctrl + B keys to make the selected part of the text bold.

Making Text Italic

An Italic text appears with a small tilt, and we use italics to distinguish it from other texts. It is very easy to convert selected text to italic font by following two simple steps.

Step:1 Select the part of the text that the font needs to be tilted. You can use any of the text selection techniques to select the text section.

Step:2 Click the Font Italic [I] button in the Home tab font group, or use the Ctrl + I  keys to convert part of the text to Italic font. Italic font 

Underline the Text

A single line of text appears underlined and we use the underlined part of the text to distinguish it from other texts. It is very easy to convert selected text to letter by following two simple steps.

Step:1 Select the part of the text that needs to be sketched. You can use any steps of text selection to select the text section. 

Step:2 Click the Font Underline [U] button in the Home Tab, Font group, or use the Ctrl + U keys to underline the text.

Strike-through the Text

Strike through the text The strike throw part of the text will look as if a line has been drawn between it. The strike throw part of the text indicates that it has been deleted and the text part is no longer needed. It is very easy to convert selected part of text into strike throw part of text by following two simple steps. 

Step:1 Select the part of the text you want to changed to bold font. You can use any steps of text selection to select the text section.

Step:2 Click the Font Strike Throw [abc] button in the Home tab>> Font Group>> to draw a line in the middle of the text called Strike Throw Text.
